So for my second post on my Journal, I would like to talk about gaming; how we players do game in our own way.

As a gamer at the age of 16 I have about 7-8 years of experience in gaming, both casual and hardcore gaming.
I have played all kind of games and all very difference from eachother. I have played in clan for about 1-2 years (May be wrong, can't remember) but only once, ofcourse I have played a lot with small groups, friends and such.

I'm mostly the casual gamer at the time because I'm not big fan of playing hardcore because I just don't have the time and I don't feel that freedom as I get in causal, ofcourse there is a lot of great things with Hardcore as tacticals, teamworking, fun with a lot of friends, those things depends of the game ofcourse. I played Battlefield 2 when it were released, the first game were I really got into the Clan based gaming. I meet a lot of friends there and still talk to them after our clan got abonned for about 2-3 years ago. It were really a shame that it got abonned, because we were all at the same age so we all were on the same "wave" (Need better word >_>.) and could play a lot together, and were just a really great team.

But after all I realised that I more like casual. if you have some friends to play with it can be really fun and you can get a little feeling of the same as clan gaming.
And mostly the hardcore games as Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Battlefield and such really requires a clan to play with before it gets fun.
Games like The Elder Scroll, Half-Life, GTA which is casual games is really great to play with small amount og friends (I know that TES and HL is singelplayer game anyway)
I really like that you are not schuled to play at that date and that time because then I feel kinda forced, which I don't like; I want to play this game when I want to, and can enjoy it, I didn't always enjoy BF2 when I played in this clan because of this
which is kinda sad.

That's why I don't really like Hardcore gaming.


But reversing all this, it all depends of the game and the gamers opinion.
If you like to play with a lot of people at once and have those adrealine shot, then do it! Do it if you like to and don't let anything stop you.
If you more like to just relax, and just do "randomized" gaming as me, do it!
Do what you like to do...
